Up for our morning walk and witnessing the sunrise on another spectacular day in paradise.

I think I must be living in the Wild Kingdom this Winter. Have a gray fox visiting me and leaving his calling card nightly. This is making my dogs crazy. Didn't know they could jump fences, but apparently they even climb trees and sometimes sleep in them to stay out of the coyotes reach. Finally spotted the little fellow yesterday just before dusk. He was too fast for me to get a shot with my camera. But here is a photo of a similar one.

 NOVEMBER 10, 2012

Brrrrrrrrrrr............had to get up at 4:30 am and put on my stocking cap this morning as it was only 50 deg. in the rig.  No insulation in this trailer, but both my dogs slept in my bed last night. They are such cuddly, warm things, but take up far too much room. I barely had the edge of the bed to sleep on. LOL  This is really unusual for it to be so cold this early.  It was definitely nippy on our dawn hike out into the desert this morning. At least the rattlesnakes are probably underground today. Must be coming down from Idaho.

I've been in Yuma since October 23rd, at which time I came down with a lousy cold and was out of commission for about a week. And the temps were in the low 90's.......go figure. Then my truck axle started leaking and long story short, I've had to add
$2,000 in repairs this month to my credit card.

I have managed to go out dancing a few afternoons and hook up with old friends.  It's kind of like going to a reunion every year. Such fun. Of course, I have to learn their names all over again.  I hate this part of getting older. I used to have such a sharp memory. What happened?

It's so good to be home again. Today is a beautiful Spring day, the birds are chirping and it's currently 82 degrees. I forgot what grass looked like and how much I enjoy working in my garden.
